As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the clubhouse, providing exceptional service to our valued members, and assisting the General Manager in achieving business goals. - Greet and engage with members in a friendly and professional manner, fostering positive relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Respond promptly and effectively to member inquiries, feedback, and concerns, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Assist members with membership inquiries, sign-ups, renewals, and updates, maintaining accurate membership records.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring all areas of the clubhouse (bar, grill, gaming room) are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the clubhouse, implementing and enforcing high-quality standards.
- Assist in managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies for the clubhouse, while controlling costs and minimizing waste.
- Supervise and provide guidance to staff members, including training, scheduling, and performance management, fostering a positive work environment.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to identify and implement innovative ideas to enhance member satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the gaming area, ensuring proper functioning of equipment, regular maintenance, and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Stay updated on the latest gaming trends and industry developments, recommending updates or additions to the gaming room to enhance member experience.
Bar and Grill Support:
- Collaborate with the bar and grill teams to ensure efficient service delivery, maintaining high-quality standards of food and beverage offerings.
- Support the implementation of marketing initiatives, promotions, and special events in the bar and grill to drive member engagement and revenue growth.
- Assist in managing reservations, seating arrangements, and special requests, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for members.
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a similar hospitality environment, preferably in a membership club, casino, or entertainment venue.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse individuals, including members, staff, and vendors.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various operational aspects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of gaming regulations in North Dakota, willing to stay updated as required.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a team.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software used for membership management, inventory control, and reporting.
